When I started my premedical journey, I learned how important it is to have a community that understands both the academic challenges and the long-term goals of future physicians. I also knew that I wanted to create something that would to help others who are on a similar path, and that was how FGMP came about. As a first-generation student myself, I knew first hand how difficult and overwhelming it can be to navigate your way into medicine. FGMP was built to help make that process easier by offering resources, mentorship, and a supportive network. My hope is that FGMP gives students just like me the confidence and guidance they need to achieve their dreams and know that they don’t have to do it alone.
